Tesla At Tesla, our Parts Advisors play an important role in service operations, providing fundamental support to both Technicians and customers in our mission to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy. What You’ll Do
Source parts from Distribution Centers and other Service Center locations and allocate them to vehicle service appointments. Monitor inventory within the parts system, communicate parts updates and availability with relevant team members. Review upcoming appointments and ensure they are properly prepared and documented in our system. Prepare internal orders for shipment to other service center locations. Process and return warranty part shipments for quality assurance, including handling hazardous materials and high-voltage batteries. Systematically receive, inspect, and put away stock and special-order parts. Escalate parts issues from internal or external suppliers in collaboration with the Regional Parts Manager, acting as a point of contact to vendors and giving constructive feedback to contribute to future improvements. Pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift, engaging third parties when necessary. What You’ll Bring
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with both internal stakeholders and customers. Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and achieve common goals. Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Able to communicate, read, and write effectively in English on all levels. Proficient in MS Office. Valid driver’s license required and ability to obtain appropriate state licensing, where applicable. Ability to perform repetitious duties including regularly lifting up to 25 lbs., sitting, bending, and standing for long periods of time. Specific vision abilities required: ability to identify parts, operate systems, and identify potential safety hazards in the parts department. Benefits
