- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods with precision and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as necessary
- Upsell products or services to enhance the customer's shopping experience and increase sales opportunities
- Assist with merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling inquiries or customer calls
Qualifications
- Previous cashiering or retail sales experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customers
- Basic math skills for quick calculations and accurate cash management
- Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail environment is advantageous
- Ability to perform merchandising, stocking, and product demos as needed
