Pay Rate:
$108,200 - $144,300

The PM3 & Recycle Area Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and effective execution of maintenance activities within the PM3 and Recycle areas of the mill. This role oversees the repair, reliability, and upkeep of all departmental equipment and systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime. The manager leads a team of in‑house maintenance personnel, fostering a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.
Essential Responsibilities
Lead the safe execution of all maintenance work and assigned projects within the PM3 and Recycle Areas.
Supervise maintenance teams and contractors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and cost controls.
Plan, schedule, and monitor maintenance activities to improve reliability, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
Collaborate with operations to align maintenance efforts with production goals and drive the Maintenance Work System (MWS) process.
Provide technical guidance and equipment expertise to support troubleshooting and long‑term reliability.
Develop and implement reliability improvement initiatives, including preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure readiness of critical spare parts and equipment.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Support training and development of maintenance personnel to build a skilled and engaged team.
The Skills You Will Bring
A technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment; experience in Paper Industry is a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools.
Knowledge of reliability principles and Lean tools such as RCFA.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing operational needs.
