Osiris9
Help shape the future of mobility in Florida
Osiris 9 Consulting is a rapidly growing transportation engineering and planning firm delivering Project Development & Environment (PD&E), transportation planning, traffic engineering, and roadway design services across Florida. We’re seeking a self‑motivated Transportation Planner who’s excited to jump into meaningful, high‑impact projects—and help communities move smarter and safer.
If you’re detail‑oriented, enjoy turning data into insights, and communicate clearly with both technical teams and everyday people, you’ll feel right at home here.
Why you’ll love this role You’ll collaborate with experienced planners and engineers, work on a wide range of projects throughout Florida, and build skills that matter—GIS analysis, public‑facing materials, research, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
This is a great opportunity for someone who’s eager to grow quickly, take ownership, and contribute to work that people actually experience every day.
What you’ll do (day‑to‑day impact)
Use ArcGIS / GIS tools to support transportation planning studies and analyses
Turn data into actionable insights—quantifying impacts to the natural, social, and cultural environment
Research transportation planning documents and clearly summarize findings for the team
Help produce strong deliverables: planning reports, technical documentation, and presentations
Create graphics, brochures, handouts, and presentation materials that make complex concepts easy to understand
Work with a variety of sources—standards, datasets, reports, surveys, and stakeholder input—to support project decisions
Apply standard planning techniques with sound judgment and thoughtful recommendations
Support communication with stakeholders, including presenting information to senior leadership, public agencies, elected officials, and the public (as needed)
What you’ll build (skills & growth)
Strong proficiency with ArcGIS (and exposure to ArcGIS Pro if you don’t already use it)
A deeper understanding of transportation planning and how it supports real‑world project delivery
Confidence creating public‑facing materials and presenting information clearly and professionally
Experience contributing to multidisciplinary consulting teams and high‑visibility projects
What we’re looking for
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Urban & Regional Planning, Transportation Planning, or a closely related field
Experience with ArcGIS Pro
Experience with graphic/layout or design tools
Willingness to cross‑train in other disciplines
Able to work independently and collaboratively
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
Paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)
Health, vision, and dental insurance
Retirement savings plan with employer match
Volunteer time off
Professional development programs and training
Additional notes
Salary is based on qualifications and experience.
