Description & Requirements We’re looking for a proactive, experienced, and highly organized Senior Booking Producer to secure top-tier voices and elevate our coverage across Bloomberg’s platforms. This role requires exceptional editorial judgment, creativity, and the ability to build, leverage and maintain strong relationships with the most influential leaders in business, finance, government and culture.
What You’ll Be Trusted To Do
Secure high-profile guests — CEOs, CIOs, policymakers, economists, market strategists, cultural leaders and other influential newsmakers — for daily live programming that drives the top market-moving stories
Leverage rolodex to develop and maintain deep relationships with global business, finance, government, institutional communities and cultural leaders, serving as a trusted point of contact for VIP-level executives and their communications teams
Coordinate guest bookings across multiple Bloomberg platforms (TV, Radio, Digital, Weekend, Originals and Live Events) ensuring strategic alignment and avoiding conflicts in coverage
Set and elevate editorial direction by pitching strong news‑making ideas, identifying emerging storylines, and matching the right guests to the right coverage moments
Collaborate closely with producers, anchors, and editors to shape rundowns, support live broadcasts, and ensure segments land with impact
React quickly to breaking news, identifying and securing the most relevant voices under pressure and tight deadlines

Write and edit concise, compelling scripts, briefs, and headlines in a fast‑paced newsroom environment
Operate with strong judgment, discretion, and professionalism when engaging with high‑level executives and their teams
Work independently as a self‑starter, managing priorities, pipelines, and communication with consistency and reliability
What You’ll Need To Have
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in live TV booking, news production, or a comparable role involving high-level guest acquisition
Demonstrated success in building and leveraging relationships with senior leaders across industries
Deep knowledge of financial markets, global news, corporate and cultural leadership, and policy dynamics
Strong editorial instincts — the ability to identify news angles, anticipate competitive coverage, and pitch strategically
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
Ability to thrive under pressure, pivot quickly, and meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced newsroom
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and consistent in follow‑through
Flexibility with working hours based on program schedules or breaking news needs
A creative, forward‑thinking mindset and a proactive approach to solving problems and elevating content
Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000 USD annually + benefits + bonus.
We offer one of the most comprehensive and generous benefits plans available and offer a range of total rewards that may include merit increases, incentive compensation (exempt roles only), paid holidays, paid time off, medical, dental, vision, short and long term disability benefits, 401(k) + match, life insurance, and various wellness programs, among others.
