Job Description What You’ll Do:
Workwith business personnel to identify and document system software requirements
Performpost production support for business applications which may include routine maintenance, enhancements and the need to perform research to aid in troubleshooting software production errors
Conduct manual and automatedtesting, implementation and assist with documentation
Perform software implementation tasks, including source control and deployment activities
Assist in the development and documentation of appropriate standards and criteria for acceptable programming and systems development lifecycle activities
Leadmeetings and discussions on technical topics in support of software development

Qualifications 48 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
Or completion of associate core program in computer science or information systems AND 30 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.
Or completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systems AND 24 mos. combined work experience in any combination of the following: designing and performing systems analysis, developing and/or modifying programs for computer applications recommending application solutions and/or testing and correcting programs as it relates to testing and implementation and assisting with documentation including 12 mos. work experience in the primary technology as specified by the agency position description & job posting.

Experience with using JMeter to perform load testing / performance testing in one or more projects
Experience with using Microsoft Visual Studio to perform load testing / performance testing in one or more projects
Experience with using Gherkin / Selenium for performing automated testing

Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 34, Step 1 of the union (OCSEA) Pay Range Schedule ($36.90 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($38.70 per hour) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
