Position Overview
As a Pilot at 7 AIR, LLC, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting cargo to various destinations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of goods while adhering to all aviation regulations and company procedures. This position requires a high level of skill, professionalism, and commitment to safety.
Responsibilities & Duties
Monitor personal flight, duty, and rest activity to ensure compliance with 14 CFR Part 121.500
Ensure readiness for duty by confirming Fit for Duty status via Flight Release.
Maintain communication with the Flight Follower to address any irregularities that might affect legality.
Provide updates on whereabouts post-crew-check-in to the Flight Follower.
Be aware of possible schedule changes and the need for immediate Crew Scheduling notification.
Safely operate cargo aircraft during all phases of flight, including loading, takeoff, and landing.
Coordinate with ground crew and cargo handlers to ensure proper loading and unloading of freight.
Conduct pre-flight inspections to ensure the aircraft is air-worthy and prepared for flight.
Adhere to all Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
Monitor weather conditions and make informed decisions regarding flight routes and altitudes to ensure the safety of the aircraft and cargo.
Provide exceptional customer service to cargo clients, ensuring their freight is handled with care and delivered on time.
Collaborate with the Captain and other crew members to ensure smooth operation of the aircraft and efficient use of resources.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Comply with company policies regarding alcohol and drug use, personal appearance, and professional conduct.
Qualification
Hold a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate.
Must be under 65 years of age.
Successfully complete 7Airs FAA approved for initial, upgrade, or recurrent flight and ground training.
Complete all training and qualification segments of the 7Air approved training program.
Maintain a current FAA Class I Medical Certificate.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Excellent decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous experience in cargo aviation or relevant flight operations preferred.
