Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity at a well-established community hospital in Vincennes, Indiana.
This assignment offers a high-autonomy anesthesia practice, predictable weekday scheduling, strong surgical collaboration, and a sustainable call rotation with post-call days off. Providers practice independently, perform their own cases, and work within a mature anesthesia care model supported by experienced colleagues.

Schedule & Coverage Model
Primary Schedule:
Monday–Friday Cases typically run 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (or until cases conclude) One provider scheduled 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week Call Coverage:
1–2 providers cover weeknight and weekend call Post-call day off provided Call Frequency: Approximately once per week (may vary during startup phase) Call Response Time: 30 minutes
Staffing Model
Daily Coverage:
7 CRNAs working daily 8th provider scheduled on post-call day off
Collaboration:
CRNAs and MDs practice independently Providers manage their own cases
Case Mix CRNAs must be comfortable across a broad anesthesia scope, including:
General Surgery Endoscopy Orthopedics & Joint Replacement Urology Ophthalmology OB/GYN (including C-sections) ENT Radiology with Anesthesia Podiatry
OB Volume:
~358 deliveries annually (with anticipated growth)
Skills Required
Proficiency in regional blocks Comfortable performing spinals and epidurals Ability to practice independently in a hospital-based anesthesia setting
Candidate Requirements
Certification: NBCRNA Licensure: Active and unrestricted Indiana CRNA license Certifications Required:
BLS ACLS PALS
Experience: Independent hospital anesthesia experience preferred
