General Laborer Position
Cardinal Staffing is hiring for a General Laborer in Toledo, OH! Shift: 6:00AM to 3:30PM, Monday through Friday Pay: $16.00/hr
Responsibilities:
- Handle raw and finished materialsincluding corrugated paper, foam, cardboard, and woodby loading, unloading, sorting, and staging items as directed.
- Assist in operating or supporting machinery used in packaging processes (e.g., foam cutters, corrugation machines, presses).
- Package, label, and prepare products for shipping or further processing.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas; follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
- Participate in routine inventory checks and help track materials or finished product counts.
- Report production issues, equipment malfunctions, or inventory shortages.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, and capable of performing physically demanding work.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes/materials regularly (up to 50 lbs or as required).
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety protocols and participate in training.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or warehouse settings is a plusbut enthusiasm and a willingness to learn can be equally valued.
