Contract Engineer Position
Responsibilities
- Design and model parts and create new drawings from these designs.
- Develop new process plans and ensure their compliance with engineering drawings.
- Create routings and process drawings to determine fixture and tooling requirements.
- Release process drawings and routings to manufacturing.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD (2D and 3D) modeling and drafting, with a preference for Creo.
- Experience in machining and operating CNC equipment.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

This is a contract position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $55.00/hr.
