• 3-4 overnights needed (either 11p-7a or 7p-7a)
• 2.5 patients per hour
• 70k annual volume
• 90 hours of physician coverage per day with multiple physician coverage
• ER docs write admitting orders and supervise MLPs
• ER docs responsible for house codes and elective intubations
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
