Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: ASAP
• End Date: Ongoing
• Schedule: 24-hour, in-house shifts
• Weekend Requirements

Clinical Details:

• Level III NICU
• 22-bed NICU with private rooms
• NICU & Newborn ADC: 20
• Deliveries: Approximately 1,700 annually
• Newborn Admits: 95%
• Advanced therapies: HFOV, HFJV, inhaled nitric oxide, therapeutic hypothermia
• Procedures: Pediatric surgery (no cardiac surgery except PDA ligations; no ECMO)
• Support Staff: Collaborative team with on-site pediatric cardiology and subspecialty support

Requirements:

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• VA license
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Must be clinically active within the past year
• At least 6 months of clinical experience in neonatology
• CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained
