UROLOGY NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT LOCUM TENENS OPPORTUNITY

Assignment Duration: Ongoing (2 4 weeks per month)

Schedule: Clinic + Surgical Assist + Call

Holiday Schedule: New Year s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, Christmas Eve ( Day Starting at Noon)

POSITION OVERVIEW

A Urology Advanced Practice Provider is needed for ongoing locum tenens coverage to support a medical leave vacancy. The role includes clinic visits, inpatient responsibilities, assisting in surgeries, and call coverage. Candidates must have Urology experience, including cystoscopy and operative support.

CLINICAL DUTIES

• Outpatient Clinic:
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Daily patient volume: patients per day
• Evaluation and management of adult Urology patients
• Follow-up visits, post-operative care, chronic condition management
• No routine pediatric cases (only emergency pediatric situations if on call)
• Inpatient Responsibilities:
• Rounding on assigned Urology inpatients
• Coordinating care with surgeons and hospital staff
• Procedural & Surgical Duties:
• Must have experience with Urology procedures
• Cystoscopy required
• Assisting in Urologic surgeries

CALL REQUIREMENTS

• Call ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
• Beeper call
• Required response time: 15 minutes
• Emergency Urologic consults

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• EMR: Cerner
• Support staff provided
• Credentialing timeframe: approx. 60 days

• Nearest airport: Central Wisconsin Airport
• Lodging: Hampton Inn, Hotel Marshfield, Holiday Inn

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• NP or PA with Urology experience and procedural skills
• Comfortable assisting in surgeries
• Able to work 2 4 weeks per month
• Flexible with call requirements
• Familiar with Cerner preferred
