Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join a progressive mental health practice, providing advanced care and overseeing site operations. This NP role combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring staff, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high-quality care across the site. The ideal candidate is passionate about innovative mental health treatments and committed to guiding a team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.
What you will be doing:
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for advanced treatments, including Spravato therapy, both on-site and via telehealth.
  • Provide ongoing patient care, monitor treatment progress, and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Manage medications safely and effectively as part of individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to on-site staff, including nurse practitioners, support staff, and care coordinators.
  • Oversee daily operations of the site to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical directors and other healthcare professionals, to ensure integrated and holistic patient care.
  • Participate in strategic planning and quality improvement initiatives for the site.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What you must have:
  • Valid and current NY state license as a Nurse Practitioner with specialization in mental health care. (PMHNP) Active DEA and NPI.
  • Proven experience in psychiatric assessments and treatment within mental health clinics or similar settings.
  • Strong understanding of innovative mental health treatments, including psychedelic-assisted therapies.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including overseeing staff and site operations.

Salary/Rate Range: $100,000 - $200,000
