Bon Secours Commonwealth Internal Medicine in Richmond, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGPCNP) to join our growing primary care team. We care for adult patients (18+), providing comprehensive, patient-focused internal medicine services in a supportive and collegial environment.

Position Highlights
- Patient Population: Adults, 18+
- Average Patients/Day: 20
- Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM
- Call Schedule: Every 4th week
- After-hours call: 5:00 PM 7:30 AM (Mon Fri), 24-hour call Saturday & Sunday
- Call is shared and manageable, focusing on patient needs only
- Virtual Health: Optional as needed based on patient demand
A Typical Day
- Mix of annual exams, follow-ups, and acute visits (in-person and virtual)
- First patients begin at 7:30 AM (often virtual), in-person visits start at 8:00 AM
- Last patient scheduled at 4:30 PM
- Dedicated admin time for refills, patient messages, and charting
- Supported by 3 CMAs and 1 LPN
- Collaborative care alongside 2 physicians and 1 advanced practice clinician
Qualifications
- Education: Master s or Doctorate in Nursing (FNP/AGPCNP) or Physician Assistant Studies
- Licensure: Active Virginia license (or eligibility)
- Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS required
- Experience: New graduates welcome; experienced providers encouraged to apply
