This is a prestigious Level 1 trauma center that offers comprehensive cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgical services. The facility provides advanced care with state-of-the-art technology including Marquet equipment and Cerner electronic medical records systems across multiple locations (Hershey and Holy Spirit).

Advanced Practice - Nurse Practitioner - Cardiovascular Surgery, Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery
Job Details:
• Full-time position (0.9-1.0 FTE) requiring 36-40 hours per week plus weekend calls • Typically three 12-hour shifts (6am-6pm), not including call responsibilities • OR First Assist duties with EVH (Endoscopic Vein Harvesting) experience required • Scheduled clinic hours with 3-4 patient encounters per shift • On-call responsibilities including weeknight call (6pm-6:30am) and weekend call (Friday 6pm through Monday 6:30am) • Call rotation approximately every 5 weekends, all calls taken from home • Position involves primarily OR work with some ICU floor time required • Requires active Pennsylvania medical license (IMLC not accepted) • Must have ACLS and BLS certifications • Credentialing timeframe approximately 60-120 days • Proficiency with Cerner EMR system required • Overtime requires prior approval from Practice Administration • Lunch breaks are unpaid and require clock out/in procedures
