Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Palliative Medicine

This opportunity includes simultaneous coverage for Inpatient Palliative Medicine Consults, an Outpatient Clinic Practice, and home-based Hospice Care services. Job Responsibilities:- Provide physician oversight across multiple services including inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and home hospice care.
- Manage an average daily census of 12-18 patients, collaborating with advance practice providers.
- Respond to an average of 10 calls/pages during the day shift and 1 during the night shift.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management.
- Participate in a 7-on, 7-off schedule with 24-hour call coverage, ensuring continuity of care.
- Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine.
- Active Michigan medical license (preferred).
- Current BLS certification.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills and compassionate patient management.
- Active Michigan medical license (preferred).

- Copy of NPDB self-query, pulled within the last month (required).
