JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Mississippi license/IMLC
- Board: Active board certification required (ABEM, FP/IM accepted per facility guidelines)
- DEA: Pending DEA accepted
- Experience: Active practice within the past 12 months; Residents in year 2 or greater are eligible for Emergency Medicine Privileges. (EXCEPTION: Military physicians)
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide emergency medical care in a hospital-based ED
- Manage acute and emergent medical conditions
- Maintain active board certification per medical staff bylaws
- Document care per facility standards
- Participate in go-live conversion coverage
