Locums - Pediatric Endocrinologist Location: Long Beach, CaliforniaSetting: Outpatient Clinic + Inpatient Rounding + 24/7 CallQuick-Screen Requirements Licenses & Certifications

• Active California Medical License - REQUIRED
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Pediatric Endocrinology
• BE acceptable if early career and within the allowed timeframe to sit for boards

Epic EMR experience - REQUIRED Experience

• Minimum 2 years clinical experience

Candidate Type

• Local candidates highly preferred

Assignment Details

• Start Date: January 1, 2026 (TBD); ongoing need
• Number of Positions: 2
• Schedule: Week-on coverage model
• Half-day clinic
• Inpatient rounding (Hospital, NICU, PICU)
• 24/7 telephone call coverage

Locums-to-Perm opportunity available Workload & Expectations

• Clinic Volume: Flexible. Goal = -day clinic daily ; video visits allowed.
• Callback Volume: Low.
• Historically multiple providers + fellows; now one locum per day , so minimal callbacks anticipated.

Typical Procedures

• Insulin pump management
• Continuous glucose monitoring management
• Supervision of infusion center performing stim testing and endocrine tests
