Practice EMR is EPIC UPDATE 1 Physician Assistant Needed in CT Surgery Support in Alaska! We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team near Sutton, Alaska on a locum tenens basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to support a dynamic surgical program and deliver vital care to patients requiring cardiac and thoracic services.
Key Responsibilities Assist in cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures with proficiency and precision Perform vein harvesting and provide intraoperative support Conduct patient rounds and assist with post-operative management Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR Participate in a rotating schedule with occasional on-call coverage Schedule Monday???Friday, 8-hour shifts Occasional call duties as needed Qualifications Active Alaska PA license and Alaska DEA Experience assisting in cardiac and thoracic surgery Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to function both independently and as part of a team Assignment Details Start Date: October 1, 2025 Duration: 3 months This locum role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact while working alongside an experienced surgical team. xmvmafu
