Outbound Wave Clerk – Job Description
Ryder is immediately hiring for an Outbound Wave Clerk in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Salary & Schedule
Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
About the Warehouse Products Being Handled: Engine and HVAC parts. Equipment: WMS and computer.
Warehouse Operators are supported with on‑the‑job paid training and comprehensive benefits.
Responsibilities
Assist in supporting standard facility key performance indicators (KPI) which consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing the WMS down to the floor.
Work closely with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve problems with the day’s orders.
Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
1–2 years of warehouse experience.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of WMS systems.
Forklift experience.
Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.
Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records checks and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
