Key Responsibilities
Safely operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators, skid steers, backhoes, and loaders.
Perform excavation tasks for site preparation, grading, trenching, and utility installation.
Assist with concrete preparation and pours as needed.
Execute tasks in line with project plans, site safety standards, and client specifications.
Maintain and inspect equipment daily for safe operation and report maintenance needs.
Support field crews with general labor tasks as required.
Follow all safety procedures and report any on‑site hazards immediately.
Ensure accuracy in measuring, digging, and grading to meet job specifications.
Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members for efficient workflow.
Travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑town assignments provided per diem.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience operating excavation or construction equipment preferred.
Must have a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
Strong attention to detail and safety‑conscious mindset.
Ambitious, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
Physically fit and able to work in outdoor conditions and varying terrains.
No formal education requirement—experience and work ethic matter most.
