Base pay range $34.00/hr - $36.00/hr
Role snapshot Be a key contributor to one of the world’s largest steel producers by sustaining the reliability of plant-wide electrical systems in a heavy industrial setting.
Key accountabilities
Troubleshoot, install, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic systems using schematics, AC/DC systems, and PLCs.
Operate and service a broad range of equipment with standard and specialized tools, including mobile equipment, pendant and overhead cranes, and forklifts.
Assist production operations when needed to maintain continuous output.
Perform independently or as part of a maintenance team with minimal supervision.
Navigate multiple plant areas and environments (hot, cold, dirty, greasy, wet, noisy).
Required background
1+ year of manufacturing or industrial experience—or equivalent education—including any of the following areas: industrial electronics; motors and controls; electrical power and schematics; print reading; computers and PLCs; electronics; AC/DC theory; power; test instruments and instrumentation; electrical maintenance; commercial construction and installation.
High School Diploma or GED.
Must pass assessment test(s).
Schedule and environment
Rotating 8‑hour shifts with Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays included.
Overtime as required.
Strict adherence to safety practices and PPE at all times: hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, and metatarsal‑protection boots.
Consistent attendance, punctuality, and self‑direction are essential.
