Position
On-site Field Network Technician
– Denver, CO
Required Skills / Knowledge
Knowledge of network connectivity, network security and Wi‑Fi networks.
Good understanding of Windows server environments and common operating systems.
Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical, some non‑technical).
Ability to lead clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions).
Aggressive problem solver.
Ability to travel locally to different clients.
Ability to communicate through phone, email, and written documentation.
Qualifications
Previous network field experience.
Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (SMTP, FTP, SMB, ports, TCP/IP).
Hands‑on experience providing support to users using Windows Desktop OS and other mainstream Microsoft applications.
Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clients.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Bonus Skill Set
Good understanding of Mac OS environment.
CompTIA Network+ certified.
Previous experience working in managed IT services.
Basic understanding of VOIP technology.
