NANA . ASE Seeks a Motor Vehicle Dispatcher to support the PFPA LSS program. The Motor Vehicle Dispatcher serves as a liaison between the Motor Vehicle Operators and PFPA FALD Fleet Management office(s) to monitor incidents related to PFPA motor vehicle operations, e.g., accidents, breakdowns, etc.; informs appropriate supervisory staff of known or possible issues and provides follow‑up communications. Responsibilities
Scheduling and dispatching various vehicles such as passenger, cargo, and bus. Monitoring alarm systems to detect illegal entry and ensuring the serviceability of communication equipment. Calculating penalty fees and maintaining complete vehicle logs using fleet management information systems. Maintaining records of mileage, fuel usage, and costs. Processing documents, entering police‑related data, and managing operator vehicle inspections. Assisting vehicle operators during breakdowns and resolving customer complaints. Typing commands on computer keyboards to update files and maintain logs. Assigning vehicles based on factors such as length and purpose of trip, freight or passenger requirements, and user preference. Issuing keys, record sheets, and driver credentials. Recording time of departure, destination, cargo, expected time of return and investigating overdue vehicles. Collaborating with customers to expedite or locate missing, misrouted, delayed or damaged merchandise, maintaining records of mileage, fuel used, repairs made, and other expenses. Establishing service or delivery routes, supervising loading and unloading, issuing equipment to drivers, directing activities of drivers, assigning helpers to drivers, working at vehicle distribution centers, and assigning vehicles to customer agencies. Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience as a dispatcher. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Knowledge of dispatch codes and phonetic alphabet. Able to work for extended hours under stressful conditions. Strong interpersonal skills. Outstanding communication skills. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Secret or higher clearance is required. Job ID
