Production Operator

Essential Functions
Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara’s standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
Accurately complete applicable quality and production reports hourly.
Physically and visually inspect product to prevent non-conforming goods.
Correctly report all quality defects to appropriate team members and shift leadership.
Adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
Abide by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to ensure production lines incur minimal downtime.
Demonstrate aptitude and skill to troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
Work 12‑hour shifts, day or night, on a rotating 2‑2‑3 schedule or schedule as dictated by production demand.
Qualifications
Minimum 0 years experience in manufacturing environment; 0 years in the position; and 0 years managing people/projects.
Preferred: 2 years manufacturing experience; 2 years in the position; 2 years managing people/projects.
Experience may include a combination of work experience and education.
