Job Overview

Komatsu is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Warehouse Associate position at our branch operations in Sparks, NV. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all shipments inbound and outbound, loading and off-loading, restocking, picking and staging of all parts and components materials within the warehouse and the overall appearance while providing professional quality customer service to all internal and external customers.

Key Job Responsibilities

Ability to understand and follow work instructions, policies, and procedures

Pick and package parts and components from stock.

Inspect incoming shipments identify receiving discrepancies.

Receive stock orders and ensure all items are stocked in the assigned locations

Perform weekly cycle count and bin audits

Fulfill service orders, will call orders and intercompany transfers

Perform timely and accurate completion of paperwork and transaction entries

Assist customers and Parts representatives as needed.

Ability to operate a forklift in a fast-paced warehouse.

Maintain warehouse shipping and receiving areas clean at all times.

Loading and unloading machinery parts and components.

Ability to work under different conditions wet, humid, cold or hot.

Perform various warehouse functions

Perform additional tasks as required

Proper PPE must always be worn during shift

Ability to always adhere to company safety policies

Qualifications/Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Valid driver’s license

Forklift and warehouse experience

Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees

Mathematical Skills: ability to compute and calculate basic math, including ratios and percentages

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

Computer Skills: Knowledge of database software, Internet software, manufacturing software and order processing systems, CDK or SAP experience a plus.

Analytical Skills: Uses intuition and experience to complement data

Problem Solving Skills: Identifies and resolves problems promptly

Customer Service Skills: Responds promptly to customer needs

Oral and Written Communication Skills: Speaks and writes clearly and informatively

Teamwork Skills: Balances team and individual responsibilities

Planning/Organizing Skills: Prioritizes and plans work activities

Professionalism: Reacts well under pressure; accepts responsibility for own actions; follows through on commitments

Quality: Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality

Quantity: Meets productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner

Safety: Observes safety procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions

Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
