Customer Service Associate I Family Dollar, Midway, GA.

Duties

Assist customers with questions and recommendations.

Process sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register.

Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.

Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise.

Help unload trucks and replenish stock in accordance with productivity standards.

Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while interacting professionally with customers, associates, and leaders.

Maintain store cleanliness, including cleaning bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).

Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment (highly preferred).

Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents (required).

Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height and meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting (required).

Excellent customer service and relationship management skills (required).

Strong organizational and communication skills (required).

Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills (required).
