Temco Logistics is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Check-In Clerk to join our team. The Check-In Clerk is responsible for inspecting and verifying inbound and returned units, ensuring accuracy in inventory counts, and identifying any product damage. This role involves close collaboration with drivers and technicians to maintain efficient processes and accurate records.
Qualifications And Responsibilities
Inspect and verify inbound product identification against invoices and receiving paperwork to confirm correct pack/size, quantity, and quality.
Conduct physical counts of products and ensure alignment with shipping and receiving documentation.
Report any variances to adjust inventory levels accurately in the system.
Move received products from the dock to designated warehouse slots using forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies.
Complete required paperwork for daily receiving activities and maintain accurate records.
Balance returned parts by cross-referencing what was used and what was returned.
Audit Proof of Delivery (POD) forms to ensure all fields and checkboxes are completed accurately.
Document and provide detailed descriptions of any damaged units.
Identify rescheduled orders and update PODs with new delivery dates, tagging the affected units appropriately.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong computer skills, including data entry and experience with RF scanners and tracking serial numbers.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Experience in warehouse or logistics operations is a plus.
