Production Technician (Beltsville, MD) – PAR Western Line Contractors, LLC
We are looking for a Production Technician to oversee plant operations, maintain equipment, and support production processes in our Beltsville facility. The role requires 40+ hours per week, including weekends as needed, with a flexible start time Monday through Friday between 5:30 am–6:00 am.
Starting pay range:
$24.00 – $24.75 per hour.
Primary Job Duties
Cover labor shortages in all entry- and general-level tasks.
Inspect, sample, test, and unload incoming materials.
Test and pump finished grease from the settling tank to storage.
Heat, stir, blend, and burp finished tanks for load-outs.
Inspect, load, stabilize, sample, and test outbound tankers.
Monitor equipment for maintenance issues and report to shift supervisor.
Keep floors and equipment in designated areas clean and orderly.
Complete all assigned work as requested by supervisor.
Follow all safety/OSHA rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements
Operate various industrial equipment (hoses, valves, pumps, rote‑strainers, conveyors/screws, etc.).
Climb ladders and stairs.
Read and record measurements, temperature, and time.
Proficient in basic math and lab skills.
Dependable and punctual, positive attitude, detail oriented, takes pride in work quantity and quality, adaptable, self‑starter.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 100 lbs.
Frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, kneel, climb ladders, and squat for extended periods.
Ability to work at heights up to 35 ft, in confined spaces, and in adverse temperatures and weather conditions.
Working Conditions
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Exposure to used cooking oil odors.
Handling grease‑coated equipment.
