As a Forklift Operator, you will operate material handling equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, and reach truck to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse.

Position Purpose Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Locate the correct slot on storage racks, set pallets in place with a forklift or hand stack items, and enter product data into the appropriate unit.

Check and count incoming freight in the staging area before transporting it to the freezer with a forklift or pallet jack.

Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.

Rotate date‑sensitive stock to the front of the rack or remove outdated inventory according to company policy.

Disperse over‑stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.

Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area or receptacles; inspect empty pallets for damage before moving them with a pallet jack or forklift.

Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.

Ensure the work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions or acts immediately.

Review the work schedule, perform a safety check on equipment, obtain necessary supplies, and prepare for operations.

Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.

Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.

Work from receiving sheets, computer print‑outs, established procedures, and practices, following written and/or verbal instructions.

Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks, and take appropriate action as needed.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area as needed.

Remove batteries that require recharging, replace them with charged batteries, and complete the vehicle inspection checklist.

Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.

6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.

Ability to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.

Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.

Able to lift, stack, and pull products off shelves and replenish product from various heights, weighing between 10–35 pounds and generally up to 60–90 pounds, as required.

Able to work in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, and dry).

Pass a post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Compensation $21.50 per hour.
