Bartech Staffing is proud to partner with one of the largest electric power holding companies in the United States who is seeking a
Project Scheduler (Controls)
for a contractual opportunity in the Plainfield, IN area. The ideal candidate will come with hands‑on experience in
Primavera P6
and be comfortable leading scheduled review meetings, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring accurate and timely updates to project schedules.
Hourly Pay Range $55/hr. - $59/hr. (W2)
Hybrid schedule:
3 days per week in the office.
Relocation candidates welcome:
clear and committed relocation plan required.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using
Primavera P6 .
Perform project cost analysis, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Lead schedule review meetings and collaborate with project teams to gather necessary information.
Apply project controls principles and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Qualifications
Associate degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical field, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6.
OR
5 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera P6 in lieu of a degree.
Working knowledge of project controls principles and scheduling software.
Proficiency with project management concepts and tools (financial tools, spreadsheets).
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, or technical field.
PMI or AACE certification (PMP, CAPM, PMI-SP, AACE-CCC, AACE-PSP, AACE-CEP, AACE-EVP).
Experience with software such as Primavera, Business Objects, Passport, MS Office Suite, Prolog, Visio, Powerplant, Maximo, PeopleSoft.
