Required Skills:
- Valid CRNA certification and state licensure (MN license preferred)
- Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience
- Proficient in general anesthesia procedures, including OB, pediatrics, ENT, and regional blocks like epidurals, TAP, spinal, and peripheral blocks
- Ability to work both supervised and unsupervised care models
- Strong procedural skills in VBAC/TOLAC, TEE (not certification required), cardioversions, and other specialty procedures
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and decision-making abilities
- Ability to respond to beeper calls within 30 minutes
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations
- Familiarity with cardiac cases (though not required to be TEE certified)
- Prior experience in similar clinical environments or hospital settings
- Ability to handle on-call responsibilities, including overnight and weekend shifts
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Registered Nurse with active CRNA certification
- At least one year of anesthesia practice in hospital or surgical settings
- Experience with OB anesthesia, including VBAC/TOLAC procedures
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Other Requirements:
- Availability for ongoing, full-time engagement, including weekends, evenings, and on-call shifts
- Willingness to float between facilities approximately 20 minutes apart
- Must pass background checks and adhere to all regulatory and safety standards
- Beeper response time of 30 minutes is essential; onsite accommodations available if needed
Position Details:
- Hourly Rate: $218.59
- Shift Length: 8 hours, Monday through Thursday (7:00 AM 3:30 PM), with additional hours for weekend and evening call
- Shift Schedule: Regular days with overnight, weekend, and holiday call rotation
