Proven IT . Description The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for generating new business within the Marketing team. The BDR will conduct daily administrative tasks, lead generation activities, maintain accurate customer data, generate reports, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support business development strategies within assigned markets or regions. The BDR will prospect and nurture prospective accounts through marketing programs and outreach to generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQL). Additionally, the BDR will participate in Provens sales training and development programs, with opportunities for growth in Marketing, Sales, and Business Development. Responsibilities Create and execute personalized InMail and email cadences to targeted individuals and companies. Prospect, review, and target assigned leads, ensuring proper follow-up and data management. Leverage appointment-building skills to set meetings. Conduct research on target prospects to understand their needs. Craft compelling, customized messaging to drive responses and generate qualified leads. Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize results. Utilize lead generation tools, social media platforms, and industry databases to build a pipeline of potential clients. Use talk tracks when prospecting and networking to set meetings. Schedule appointments and meetings for the sales team, ensuring coordination and accuracy. Meet weekly activity goals for prospecting, lead qualification, and appointment setting. Develop and implement demand generation campaigns, including email marketing, webinars, and content distribution. Maintain accurate activity notes and actions in CRM. Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitors to tailor outreach strategies. Support presales administrative activities and contribute to strategy development. Track and maintain lists of business opportunities in target segments or regions. Produce reports and scorecards reflecting the status of pursuits. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requirements Sales or Marketing experience preferred. BS/BA degree in business or related field. Previous B2B sales experience. Experience in the technology sector preferred. Strong organizational skills. Basic business acumen. Self-motivated with a drive for achievement. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Professional communication skills. Presentation skills. Commitment to personal development and staying updated on market trends. Ability to work collaboratively in a team. Flexible with break and lunch periods based on workflow. This is an 8am-5pm role with potential outside hours to meet deadlines. Physical Demands Prolonged sitting, using hands for handling objects, and operating office equipment. Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.
