The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the accurate, efficient, and timely flow of product through the Comfort One Shoes distribution center. This role leads daily warehouse operations, maintains inventory accuracy, develops the warehouse team, and continuously improves processes to support our retail stores and e-commerce business.

This position requires a hands‑on leader who builds strong systems, communicates clearly, and creates a positive, accountable work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

  • Oversee receiving, putaway, picking, packing, transfers, and shipping
  • Ensure high inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and process discipline
  • Execute daily workflows that support store and ecommerce demand
  • Monitor productivity, accuracy, and throughput; address issues quickly

Team Leadership

  • Lead, schedule, train, and support the warehouse team
  • Set clear expectations and provide consistent feedback
  • Build a culture of teamwork, accountability, and mutual respect

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Document and improve warehouse systems, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Plan staffing, space utilization, and workflows to support growth and peak seasons
  • Identify inefficiencies and implement practical, measurable improvements

Safety, Organization & Execution

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and applicable regulations
  • Oversee equipment condition and coordinate maintenance as needed

Communication & Coordination

  • Communicate clearly with stores, logistics partners, and corporate teams
  • Support merchandising and operations with accurate information and follow‑through
  • Ensure product moves accurately and on time to support store success

Required Skills & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams in a warehouse or distribution environment
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse operations, and logistics
  • Proven leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience improving or scaling warehouse operations
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems
