At Great Expressions Dental Centers, we’re seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join our team and positively impact our patients’ oral health. This position requires the candidate to travel between our Pembroke Pines and Miramar offices – mileage reimbursement is provided. Responsibilities Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized environment. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth workflow. Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist. Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately. Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience or relevant education is preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate. Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication skills and a friendly, compassionate demeanor. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-pace environment. Proficiency in dental software and technology is a plus. Requirements Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays. Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH permit). Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X-rays. Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X-rays, BORID certification, and annual CE requirements per state regulations. Michigan: Upon hiring, furnish evidence of X-ray training certification; if not possessed, an 8-week period is granted to submit it. New Jersey: Proof of X-ray training. New York: Not applicable. Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X-rays (including FDOH permit). Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
