Machine Operator
As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating EDM machines to produce high-quality components. You will perform equipment set-up, operate machinery, and conduct in-process inspections to ensure that all tasks are completed successfully. You will work closely with Engineers and Supervisors to maintain product integrity and quality, as well as assist in developing process documentation. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures is essential in this role.
Responsibilities
- Operate EDM machines to generate components.
- Perform equipment set-up, operation, and in-process inspection.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Supervisors to ensure product quality.
- Develop process documentation alongside Engineers.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment and machines.
- Experience with microscopes.
- Basic computer skills, including the use of Excel for documentation.
- Strong communication skills.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator or technician.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a cleanroom environment.
- Familiarity with SMT machines and rework processes.

Work Environment
The role is based in a cleanroom environment with shift options including 1st shift (6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm), and 3rd shift (10:15pm-6:45am). Third shift employees will initially train on either the 1st or 2nd shift for a few weeks to accommodate the transition.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
