Hardware Engineer Location: Annapolis Junction, MD Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Polygraph Telework: Based on tasking About the Role We’re seeking a Hardware Engineer with strong hands‑on technical skills and experience supporting complex hardware systems—particularly those used in SIGINT environments. In this role, you’ll work with RF wiring, hardware installations, electronic test equipment, and system troubleshooting. You’ll also support system design, documentation, and site surveys to ensure mission‑critical hardware solutions are reliable, accurate, and aligned with user requirements. What You’ll Work On Preparing functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions Analyzing hardware specifications and system/subsystem requirements to design practical hardware components, including: Servers Network devices Transmission media Storage devices User interface devices Special processors Identifying and resolving issues with operational hardware to ensure solutions meet user needs Assisting with the development of installation guides, field test procedures, and troubleshooting documentation Conducting site surveys and documenting current network configurations and site‑specific requirements What You Bring (Ideal Qualifications) Hands‑on experience wiring RF systems based on schematics Familiarity with hardware installation Experience using electronic test equipment and performing electronic system troubleshooting 10+ years of experience as a Hardware Engineer analyzing complex hardware systems for SIGINT solutions Bachelor’s degree in Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related discipline Five additional years of hardware engineering experience may be substituted for the degree #J-18808-Ljbffr
