Job: Baker's Crust Artisan Kitchen in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Manager.

Manager Overview and Qualifications: As a Manager, you are responsible for all restaurant operations, including marketing, catering, team scheduling, sales goals, and results. You will maintain a clean, sanitary, safe, and positive work environment in a fast-paced setting while providing superior guest service. Responsibilities include:
Assist the general manager in overseeing restaurant operations.
Meet company P&L and expense goals.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and all applicable health, safety, and labor regulations.
Handle financial and personnel/payroll administrative duties accurately and timely.
Maximize sales and profits through managing food, supplies, and labor costs.
Establish and maintain appropriate staffing levels; make employment decisions accordingly.
Maintain employee files and handle disciplinary actions.
Ensure service areas are properly set up and clean.
Possess full knowledge of menu and bar items, able to make recommendations.
Greet guests professionally and courteously.
Verify guest age for alcohol purchases.
Accurately take food and beverage orders.
Develop staff skills, customer service, and sanitation standards; teach suggestive selling.
Foster positive employee relations and uphold company culture.
Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation standards.
Conduct inventories and proper ordering of supplies.
Enforce safety protocols for guests and staff.
