Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare facility in Lakewood, OH is seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist for a contract opportunity. This role involves performing diagnostic X-rays for a diverse patient population including outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department cases. The position may also include portable imaging duties, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging support. Comprehensive orientation will be provided to ensure readiness. Qualifications and Experience: Valid ODH license, ARRT certification, and current BLS certification required Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably in a hospital environment Competence in taking diagnostic X-rays, including portable imaging Ability to assist with fluoroscopy and surgical imaging when needed Strong attention to detail, patient care, and safety protocols Responsibilities: Execute diagnostic radiographic procedures accurately and safely Collaborate with clinical teams to support emergency and inpatient imaging needs Transport and operate portable X-ray equipment for bedside imaging Maintain equipment, adhere to safety standards, and document procedures properly Participate in orientation and ongoing training sessions Location Insights: Lakewood, Ohio offers a vibrant community with a mix of urban amenities and suburban charm.
