Overview Ameritech Facility Services is seeking a full-time and experienced jack-of-all-trades Technician/Handyman for maintenance and repair in commercial construction and facilities. The role involves traveling to diverse client sites (primarily retail and restaurant) to solve construction-related issues, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair. Candidates should have at least 5 years of carpentry experience with a basic understanding of electrical, flooring, and plumbing. A background check is required. The company delivers services out of state, and interstate travel may be necessary.
Compensation Earn up to $60,000 per year as a Helper. Pay potential based on projects completed
Earn up to $80,000 per year as a Technician. Pay potential based on projects completed
Responsibilities Perform minor plumbing, electrical, roofing, concrete, stucco, fencing, asphalt, carpet, and tile repairs
Use basic tools and install or assemble components by following instructions
Manage projects and prioritize tasks; follow special instructions and schedules
Maintain professional appearance and effective communication with clients
Travel to client sites (regionally 50–75%), primarily during daytime; some nights and weekends may be required
Handle projects as needed and maintain safety and quality standards
Qualifications Commercial construction experience (5+ years), preferably in restaurant environments
Ability to travel regionally (50–75%)
Clean driving record and personal transportation
Tools (drills, saws, hammers, ladders, cords, shop vac, caulking gun, etc.); specialty tools may be rented
Cell phone with ability to scan, email photos, and use apps; basic computer skills
Good communication skills; willingness to learn other skills

Additional The role is full-time. This description may not be all-inclusive, and the company reserves the right to assign or reassign duties as needed. Travel for work out of state may be necessary and interstate trips may be distributed among drivers.
