We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages. Responsibilities Dumps grain and/or loads railcars or trucks; cleans up grain spills. Inspects grain for insects, moisture, and foreign material during unloading from trucks. Reads grain temperatures at various levels in storage tanks in a timely manner. Starts conveyors, selects flow pipes, sets trippers, and selects storage tanks to convey grain to storage or destination. Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on elevator equipment. Assists with inventory controls as directed by supervisor. Maintains clean vehicles and equipment; reports issues. Promotes teamwork and effective communication within the company and at the branch location. Maintains clean facilities and complies with state and federal workplace safety regulations. Attends training and safety meetings; provides excellent customer service. Communicates effectively with customers, employees, and management; maintains safety awareness and follows safety policies and reporting requirements. Presents a clean and professional appearance; performs other duties as directed by the supervisor. Position Requirements High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to multitask and be mechanically inclined. Requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and the ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Compensation Information General compensation range is $13.00 to $15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
