Key Responsibilities
Develop and evaluate legal rubrics for AI training based on current VC industry standards
Draft, review, and annotate legal documents such as term sheets, SAFEs, and Stock Purchase Agreements to train and validate AI models
Provide clear, structured feedback to enhance model comprehension and output on venture capital and startup financing matters
Translate complex legal and financial concepts into accessible content for AI learning
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to fine-tune model performance
Continuously monitor, document, and improve AI output quality, ensuring legal accuracy
Stay current on industry trends, keeping AI training modules aligned with evolving best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Law degree (JD, LLB, or equivalent) from a recognized institution
Active license to practice law
Demonstrated experience in venture capital or startup financing transactions
Track record of drafting and negotiating term sheets, Stock Purchase Agreements, SAFEs, and/or Convertible Notes
Deep understanding of cap tables, dilution, valuation mechanics, and corporate governance
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, especially for formal legal work
Familiarity with equity financing (Seed to Series C), shareholder agreements, and investor rights
Ability to distill and communicate complex transactional concepts to non-lawyers
Preferred Qualifications
Experience advising both startups and VC funds
Exposure to M&A, cross-border financing, or Delaware corporate law
Background with technology, SaaS, AI, or fintech companies, or prior in-house experience
