Inova Staffing is looking to hire motivated individuals to work with our client who recycles and refurnishes electronic devices. This is an exciting career opportunity for those looking to grow at their workplace!
Details:
- Pay is $17/hr.
- Hours 6:30am-3pm Monday - Friday (occasional OT on Saturdays)
- Weekly pay
- Non-climate-controlled facility!
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify the contents against purchase orders or invoices
- Inspect shipments for damages or defects and report any issues to the appropriate personnel
- Unload and unpack items from delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling and storage
- Sort, label, and stock items in designated storage areas
- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them accurately
- Use shipping software SAGE to generate shipping labels and track packages
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or RF scanners to move and manage inventory
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure accurate and timely shipment of orders
- Maintain inventory records and update the system with incoming and outgoing shipments
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills
Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities
Experience in shipping and receiving processes, including package handling and documentation
Familiarity with operating equipment such as pallet jacks, reach trucks, or RF scanners
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms or systems used for order fulfillment
Ability to load and unload items safely and efficiently
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in receiving, storing, and shipping items
