Waste Water Technician

Under minimal supervision, insures the timely and safe delivery of chemicals to the production areas. Insures the environmentally conscious and safe treatment of waste water.

Position Accountabilities:

• Operates the treatment system within the standards of all Federal, State and Local agencies.
• Repairs pumps to maintain chemical transfer. Performs water discharge testing.
• Performs tank and other system and equipment inspection.
• Delivers and receives chemicals.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Complies with all environmental and safety practices and regulations.
• Reads all MSDS' and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling and storage requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

Required Skills:

• The ability to read and write English.
• The ability to use all hand tools, wrenches, etc.
• The ability to use all power tools.
• The ability to navigate intranet to locate process documents - basic computer skills.
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions.
