Your key responsibilities as a Valet Attendant will include greeting guests with enthusiasm, parking and retrieving a variety of vehicles, and ensuring everyone starts their visit with exceptional service. **THE STARTING RATE:** $12.75 plus tips
**THE DAY-TO-DAY:*** Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services* Collect a vehicle claim check and retrieve the guest’s vehicle for their departure* Accommodate guests requiring special assistance and aid* Report issues and/or potential problems to security or immediate supervisor to avoid traffic congestion and delays at the valet entrance* Assist in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion* Answer guest questions about hotel registration, restaurants, events, activities, and attractions* Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty* Report all alleged thefts or missing items to the supervisor and/or hotel security for further investigation* Assist bell persons with the movement of luggage as necessary**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:*** Two years of experience in a service related industry preferred* Able to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings**THE PERKS & BENEFITS:*** Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees)* Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally* Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.* Free meals in our employee dining room* Free parking on and off shift**VIEW JOB DESCRIPTION:****Pay Rate:**The rate for this role is:$12.75Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
