With a wide array of brands in exciting locations, HRI Hospitality is the destination to set course for growing your career!# JOB DESCRIPTION**Job Title**: Barista**Department:** Food & Beverage**Supervision Exercised:** None**Supervision Received:** Assistant F&B Manager / F&B Manager**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS****Education*** High school diploma or equivalent preferred.**Experience*** Prior barista, café, or food service experience preferred.* Hospitality or customer service experience a plus.**Skills & Knowledge*** Knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, and beverage recipes.* Strong customer service and communication skills.* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.* Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.* Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for long periods.* Basic math and cash-handling skills.* Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and food-handling procedures.**Job Duties & Responsibilities*** Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and other beverages.* Take guest orders, process payments, and handle cash/point-of-sale transactions accurately.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, barista station, and equipment.* Restock ingredients, cups, utensils, pastries, and merchandise.* Follow standard recipes and portion controls to ensure product consistency.* Engage warmly with guests, answer questions, and offer recommendations.* Monitor inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.* Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and company standards.* Assist with opening and closing procedures.* Perform additional duties as assigned by management.HRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
