Overview
We’re looking for Automotive Mechanics with a
minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience
to join us at Carvana - the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500. As an Experienced Auto Technician, you’ll be expected to perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, advanced vehicle diagnostics, as well as a variety of related duties. Responsibilities
Repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues Installing, repairing, and replacing vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems Performing vehicle diagnostics and repairs on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles Shift
This position is 1st Shift / 6AM - 3PM Monday - Friday Compensation and Perks

We have a variety of Technician roles in our Inspection Centers, depending on your level of experience - see below to find a fit: Entry-Level Auto Technician
(min 6 months professional experience): perform light maintenance, fluid checks, and/or conduct the initial inspection on our vehicles Brake and Tire Technician
(min 1 year professional experience): perform light maintenance or repairs, including changing brakes and tires Mid-Level
(Mechanical Repair / Build / General) Technician (min 3 years): perform light to moderate automotive repairs and minimal diagnostics Experienced Technician
(min 5 years): perform extensive repairs and heavy engine work, as well as advanced vehicle diagnostics on all makes and models, including electric and hybrid vehicles Other opportunities

Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools - must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license. Some positions may be subject to an MVR check Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment with exposure to heat/cold Use of safety equipment including face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments About Carvana
