Hyundai Technical Training Equivalency Assessment Program Hyundai welcomes experienced technicians from other OEMs. The program allows technicians with training from an industry-recognized source, other than Hyundai, to test out of certain Hyundai instructor‑led technical training courses, provided they meet certain requirements.

What We’re Looking For

ASE/STAR Certified Technician with a minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Strong understanding of automotive systems, tools, and technology.

Experience working with multiple makes and models is a plus.

A team player with excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Performing vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.

Providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Working as part of a team to meet and exceed shop goals.

As a service consultant you will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests; verifying warranty and service contract coverage; developing estimates; writing repair orders; maintaining customer records. You will serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer's needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
