With its stunning décor and exceptional location, our hotel provides easy access to the best of the city, blending heritage, culture and modern luxury for an unforgettable stay.**JOB SUMMARY** The primary responsibility of the more traditionally known Bell Attendant is referred to as a Porter at Maison Métier. The porter acts as the doorman, bellman, and porter as we are a 67 room property. This position is responsible for assisting guests with luggage, escorting guests to rooms and giving property and room orientations, storing and retrieving luggage, delivering packages and other items in the property, providing directions and maintaining property entrance and lobby. The porter works closely with the Front Desk staff to coordinate assistance to guests.**JOB DUTIES** * Welcome and assist all arriving guests by helping unload luggage from vehicle.* Assist guests with luggage to and from rooms.* Answer guest questions regarding local area facilities and directions.* Ensure hotel entrance is free of litter and debris at all times.* Respond to guest needs promptly in delivering items such as dry cleaning, newspapers, packages.* Greet guests upon arrival.* Perform valet ticketing duties and work with Valet to coordinate parking.**Minimum Requirements:*** Strong verbal communication skills.* Top level customer service experience**Physical Requirements**: * Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds* Walking* Standing* Bending* Hearing and manual dexterity* Climbing stairsHRI is an Equal Opportunity Employer and provides fair and equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status or any other protected status prohibited under Federal, State, or local laws.
